There's a lot to do in Portsmouth & Southsea, but anytime you google 'things to do in Portsmouth', you're met with the standard answers, i.e. visit the Dockyard & Mary Rose Museum, visit the castle, go to the beach, etc. etc.
Obviously, those are popular things to do for tourists, but if you want to get to know the city a little better and aren't too fussed about naval history, we've got some suggestions for you.

Do the Albert Road Pub Crawl. In case you didn't know, Portsmouth has the most pubs per square mile in the UK, and they all seem to be condensed into Albert Road and Elm Grove. Whether you think it's a flex or not, it makes for a great pub crawl with no need for Ubers...well, maybe on the way home.
This list barely scratches the surface of what's to offer on Albert Road and Elm Grove, and it'd be a crime against Southsea, not to mention The Wedgewood Rooms and The Kings Theatre.
